All is not what it seems at the International Spy Museum where umbrellas are pistols, buttons are cameras, and tree stumps are microphones. Gain access to the world’s largest collection of international espionage artifacts on public display including weapons, bugs, cameras, vehicles, and spy-tech that defies classification. From a 4.5mm single shot pistol disguised as a tube of lipstick from the Soviet KGB to a Shoe with a Transmitter hidden in the heel used by the Romanian Secret Service (Securitate), the Museum’s permanent exhibition presents the tradecraft of espionage and showcases the ingenuity and imagination of real-life spies and spymasters.
Through interactive exhibits with state-of-the-art audiovisual effects, film, and hands-on components, the International Spy Museum traces the evolution of espionage through the people who practice the profession and provides a context for guests to interpret the role intelligence plays in current events. Guests adopt a cover, break codes, identify disguised spies, and become the subjects of covert surveillance throughout their visit.
The Museum offers resources for international guests to include an informational map of the exhibits to aid in navigation. This brochure is available in English, Spanish, Mandarin, French, and Japanese.
The Museum features private event facilities for all event types, from intimate gatherings, to meeting rooms and grand receptions. In addition to our private event rooms, the Museum Lobby and Exhibit space may be reserved for an exclusive event.
Additional experiences for small or large groups are available to create a memorable, unique occasion including adult team building activities, VIP after-hours tours and dynamic Speaker Series featuring former FBI, CIA and KGB agents.
