2 Hours Flying Through the Air at Trapeze School on the Capitol Riverfront

Spend an afternoon doing aerobatics, followed by a cold brew.

Stop One

Take a trapeze lesson

1299 New Jersey Avenue SE You can relax by the water in the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood – or, if you’re an adventure seeker – you can take advantage of your two free hours and sign up for a trapeze lesson with a view. Trapeze School New York has a riverfront outpost in DC that offers all manner of aerial-focused classes for beginners from silks to trampolines. But your best bet is to grab the bar and see how far you can swing in the school’s two-hour introductory trapeze class.

Stop Two

Belly up to a brewery

300 Tingey Street SE If time permits, head over to BlueJacket, a cavernous brewery run by DC’s best beer maker, Greg Engert. At any given time, the hot spot has 20 original and innovative ales and lagers on tap.
